The forecast called for 70 degrees and mostly sunny.
We saw 59 degrees and cloudy.
Six other cars in the parking lot indicated we'd meet some people.
Trail started very steep.
After about a mile, two guys with ski poles went flying by.
A few other hikers descended past us.
At about the 1.5 mile point we were met by a beautiful (I might have been oxygen-deprived) woman who was descending with a metal detactor.
We asked if she'd found anything, and she burst my bubble.
"Nothing but bottle caps, I've been looking for my engagement and wedding rings."
We didn't ask, but we said we'd keep an eye out for them.

At about the 2 mile point we met a guy we'd met two weeks ago on Isolation.
He's in the summit picture with Will and Mark.
